Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Inteltech collects through inteltech.et, why we collect it, and what your choices are. We have kept it short and plain on purpose. This website is a marketing site. It has no user accounts and takes no payments.
Who we are
The operator of this site is Inteltech, In front of Bole Printing Press, City View Building, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. You can reach us at info@inteltechs.net. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Inteltech.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us through our two forms.
- Contact form: your name, work email, company name, the service you are interested in, and your message.
- Demo request form: your name, work email, company name, what you would like to explore, and optionally your phone number, a description of what you hope to solve, and your preferred demo timing.
- Email: if you write to us directly, we keep the message and your email address.
- Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
Please do not put sensitive information, such as health details or government ID numbers, in the message fields.
Analytics and cookies
If we enable analytics, we will use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are read and where visitors come from. Google Analytics 4 uses cookies and similar technologies to collect usage data such as pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and how you arrived at the site. This information is used in aggregate to improve the site.
If analytics is not enabled, no analytics cookies are set. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and you can use Google's browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics. The site itself does not need cookies to work.
Why we use your information
- To reply to your message or demo request and arrange a demo.
- To answer questions about our products and services and, if you go ahead, to start a working relationship.
- To keep the site secure and working properly, and to improve it.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling that affects you. We do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it.
Our legal bases
Depending on where you are, we rely on one or more of the following. When you send us a form and ask us to respond, we act on your consent and on our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries. Where law requires your consent, such as for non-essential analytics cookies, we ask for it or rely on it being given through your browser settings. We also act on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and improving it, balanced against your rights.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site and handle your enquiry, and only as much as they need. These may include our website hosting provider, our email provider, a form-delivery service that passes your form submission to our inbox (acting on our instructions as a processor), and, if enabled, Google for analytics. We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We do not sell or rent your information.
International transfers
We work from Ethiopia and Canada, and our service providers may be located elsewhere. This means your information may be handled in Ethiopia, Canada or other countries, which may have different data protection rules from your own. Where we transfer information, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any relationship that follows from it. After that, we delete them. We do not keep them for a fixed number of years. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you send us, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limiting access to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it; and
- complain to a data protection regulator.
To use any of these rights, email info@inteltechs.net. We may need to confirm who you are first. In Canada, privacy is governed by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. In Ethiopia, personal data protection is governed by the Personal Data Protection Proclamation No. 1321/2024, which gives individuals rights over their personal data. If you are elsewhere, your local regulator may also help.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
The site may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will make that clear on the site.
